YOGA | BODY-MIND ALIGNMENT & YOGA NIDRA
Necashaw has been practicing yoga for more than 15 years and spent most of their yoga journey teaching friends along the way for fun AND thinking of yoga solely as a form of fitness. It took them 10 years to look beyond the coveted yogic physique, to deepen their relationship with yogic philosophy and consider a path of professional teaching. Today as a Hatha Yoga practitioner, they challenge students to let their bodies lead with gentle guidance and support towards finding steadiness and ease, body-mind alignment, and inner quiet and calm. Necashaw's ambition to teach this ancient Indian philosophy and body movement is defined by their own personal commitment to continual self discovery, to the practice of the 8 limb philosophy and to broadening the accessibility of a proven method for trauma recovery.
When Necashaw is not studying yoga, they are likely hanging in a hammock, writing, drawing, reading, or simply being somewhere with husband, Kenji, and dog, Lucy Waggle-bottom. Necashaw is a RYT 200 yoga practitioner.
